Smet GWT Europe nv is a specialised drilling, dewatering and water treatment company.

Smet GWT Europe offer drilling techniques and dewatering solutions for a soft and hard subsoil, all electro-mechanical disciplines for water production and clean or dirty water treatment, as well as turnkey solutions for terrestrial heat projects.

The flexible interventions provide a guarantee for execution planning. Smet GWT Europe have a complete and wide range of machinery for all boring techniques as well as a vast amount of dewatering equipment. It is a medium-sized company with about one hundred staff members, including specialised intervention teams. There is execution capability for contractors, construction or infrastructure projects, public administrations, water companies or the process water industry.

After more than 100 years’ experience, Smet GWT Europe can present countless successful references, among them European and overseas projects. The company has extensive knowledge of the subsoil of the Benelux through an experience and subsoil database.

They carry out dewatering applications for small-scale and large-scale infrastructure projects, construction pits, collectors and pipelines commissioned by general contractors. In addition, they perform borings for the purpose of soil analysis for clients and engineering firms as part of construction, infrastructure and environmental projects. Smet GWT Europe carry out water treatment applications for water companies and the process water industry.

Smet GWT Europe optimize turnkey projects. Turnkey projects are optimized through own engineering and computer modelling. For maintenance, a commitment is possible with guarantees for optimum cost-of-ownership.

Smet GWT Europe have successfully completed a whole host of projects using several of their applications and techniques  (design, build and maintain) : dewatering projects, energy recovery projects in the subsoil as well as water treatment projects.
