Behind the Scenes

For the wastewater treatment plant in Ham, Smet Group undertook the entire electromechanical installation based on the design by Aquafin/the engineering firm. This included:

  • Detailed Design and Manufacturing
  • Installation of Stainless Steel and HDPE Piping
  • Electrical Design
  • Manufacture of LS panels, including on-site installation and connection

A Sustainable Approach to the Project

  • SDG 11 – The facility is designed to serve 29,000 population equivalents. During rainy weather, the biological treatment system can process 1,849 cubic meters of wastewater per hour.
