Renovation of the Deurne Wastewater Treatment Plant
As an expert in water treatment, Aquafin ensures clean water while prioritizing environmental protection. In addition to the wastewater treatment plant in Deurne, Aquafin plans to use the byproduct to produce biogas. The biogas plant was renovated to make it safer and eliminate any risks.

Behind the Scenes
- As the general contractor, we carried out both electromechanical and structural work. The structural work was coordinated in-house with subcontractors.
- Electromechanical services: piping, design/engineering/manufacturing, panel building, installation of electrical panels, cable installation, and instrumentation installation.
A Sustainable Approach to the Project
- SDG 9 – Thanks to these modifications, the biogas plant is safer and more efficient than before.
- SDG 12 – With this renovation, we aim to reuse more by-products and further improve water treatment.
